RC Baja Car

Suspension Steering

Introduction:

The purpose of the website was to present a comprehensive compilation of the knowledge acquired throughout the design and manufacturing journey of the RC Car's suspension and steering systems. The carefully detailed content encompassed in this website included the analyses required for each component of the suspension and steering, complemented by a series of vividly illustrated construction phases to offer comprehensive guidance. Furthermore, in-depth descriptions of the testing phases for each analytical stage were also made available.

In addition, the project's financial allocation and the carefully outlined schedule were thoroughly documented, serving as a testament to the transparency of the project's progress and the allocation of resources to each feature of the RC Car. In its entirety, the website served as a one-stop shop for information, encapsulating the entire journey and endeavors involved in the RC Car project.

Steering Angle Test

The steering angle test was conducted to ensure that the turning angle is greater or equal to 30 degrees, which was the calculated value. The testing, which included a protractor to assist in measuring the angle, provided an average angle of 34 degrees for both turns of direction. The testing validated that the car will have a great enough turn angle to maneuver through obstacles in the road.
